Volleyball Recap: Grove Christian School Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Grove Christian School entered their tilt with Guardian Christian Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Royal Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 5th.

Grove Christian School was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-15.

Lexi Turner paced Grove Christian School's offense, picking up eight kills. Turner got some help from Anna Elban and her 22 assists. Virginia Lyles controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Grove Christian School's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Guardian Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Grove Christian School will take on Summit Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Guardian Christian Academy, they will square off against Virginia Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
