Volleyball Game Preview: Bristol Central Rams vs. Guilford Grizzlies

The Bristol Central Rams will face off against the Guilford Grizzlies on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Bristol Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Naugatuck.

Finley Gray was the offensive standout of the match as she had 18 digs and two assists. Those 18 digs gave her a new career-high.

Rockville typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Guilford proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Rams 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Grizzlies have posted since October 3rd.

Guilford was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (106-91), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 13-25, 13-25, 15-10.

Bristol Central's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.
