South Caldwell is a perfect 3-0 against East Burke since November of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will square off against the Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in South Caldwell's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

South Caldwell is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing West Caldwell: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Spartans blew the Warriors out of the water with a 76-37 final score. The Spartans pushed the score to 62-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had no chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, East Burke ended up a good deal behind St. Stephens on Friday and lost 66-49.

South Caldwell's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for East Burke, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Everything went South Caldwell's way against East Burke in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as South Caldwell made off with a 71-49 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
