Sandia won the last time they faced Eldorado and Payton Ostrander did her part to make sure it happened again. The Matadors put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday with plenty of help from Ostrander, who had 17 assists and five digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Sandia was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-10.

Sandia's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-16. As for Eldorado, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Sandia nor Eldorado have any future games scheduled.
