Glastonbury faced RHAM in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Guardians narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Raptors 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Guardians sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Glastonbury was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (105-104), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-21, 20-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Glastonbury was led to victory by Leah Mosca and Abby Kantor. Mosca had 25 digs and five aces, while Kantor had 18 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Mosca has posted since back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, RHAM still got an impressive performance from Sami DeGray, who had 44 digs. DeGray is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Victoria Ciesla was another key player, getting 12 digs and three assists.

Glastonbury's victory bumped their record up to 19-2-2. As for RHAM, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-5-1.

Glastonbury didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against East Catholic on the 15th. As for RHAM, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Norwich Free Academy on the 17th.
