The Millington Central Trojans will venture away from home to take on the South Gibson Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Millington Central will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Millington Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 33-2 win over Ridgeway. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Roadrunners recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Millington Central found their leader in sophomore Cole Hawkins, who threw for 141 yards and three TDs on only nine passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Hawkins' passing game has become a key predictor of the Trojans' success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-5 otherwise. Noah Thomas helped Hawkins out on the ground, picking up 24 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 49 yards.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for South Gibson against Hardin County on Thursday as the squad secured a 41-14 win. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won four contests by 27 points or more so far this season.
