Football Game Preview: Jefferson City Jays vs. Lutheran Cougars

Jefferson City is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Lutheran a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Jefferson City Jays will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lutheran Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Jefferson City has given up an average of 30.8 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Jefferson City is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 48-40 win over Battle on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Jays as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Lutheran came up short against Kelly on Friday and fell 13-6.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Jefferson City, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
