Softball Recap: Mullen Takes a Loss

Mullen fell victim to Arapahoe and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Warriors. The Mustangs have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Mullen's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Arapahoe, they moved to 9-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mullen will take on Grandview at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arapahoe, they will head out to challenge Pine Creek at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 11.6 runs per game this season.
