Soccer Recap: Christ Covenant Comes Up Short

Christ Covenant lost to Community Christian on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans lost 4-1 to the Cyclones. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Christ Covenant were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Brynlee Kempton, who's now up to five this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Christ Covenant and nudges their season record down to 4-4-1. As for Community Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0-1.

Christ Covenant has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Greenville Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Community Christian, they will face off against Jacksonville Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Community Christian will need to watch out since Jacksonville Christian Academy have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
