Football Game Preview: Braswell Bengals vs. Hebron Hawks + How To Watch

The Braswell Bengals will venture away from home to challenge the Hebron Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Braswell was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 25-21 to Coppell. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Cowboys are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, Hebron fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Lewisville on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Farmers by a score of 45-43. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Farmers: they've now lost six in a row.

Braswell's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Hebron, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Braswell was dealt a bruising 38-0 loss at the hands of Hebron when the teams last played back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Hawks' Ayson Mccray-Jones, who rushed for 159 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.9 yards per carry.
