Football Recap: Norton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Norton had lost four straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-8 to make it five. They took a blow against the Concordia Panthers, falling 36-6. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Norton lost, don't look at Tyler Backman. Despite the final result, he rushed for 105 yards and one score.

As for Concordia, the win got them back to even at 4-4. That 30 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Ayden Krier and Braytin Hake. Krier picked up 88 receiving yards and one touchdown while Hake rushed for 47 yards and one TD. An impressive showing, but Hake really ramped things up playing D: he forced one fumble and made six total tackles.

Norton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Concordia, they will challenge Cheney on Friday. The Cardinals' defense has only allowed 11.7 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
