Baseball Game Preview: Lenoir City Panthers vs. McMinn County Cherokees

For the second straight game, Lenoir City will face off against McMinn County. The Panthers will host the Cherokees at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lenoir City has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lenoir City lost 20-1 to McMinn County on Monday.

Lenoir City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zander Lovell, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

McMinn County's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-11. As for Lenoir City, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-18.
