Volleyball Game Preview: Coldwater Cavaliers vs. Miller City Wildcats

The Coldwater Cavaliers will face off against the Miller City Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coldwater will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Monday, Coldwater got the win against Russia by a conclusive 3-0.

While Coldwater won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-21.

Coldwater relied on the efforts of Brylee Knapke, who had ten digs and four assists, and Audrey Diller, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Diller has posted over her last six matches.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Miller City fell just short of Kalida by a score of 3-2.

Miller City actually scored more points across those five sets (101-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 25-22, 17-25, 15-9.

Coldwater's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Miller City, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4.
