Football Game Preview: Carrboro Jaguars vs. Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves + How To Watch

The Carrboro Jaguars will take on the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Carrboro and six for Cedar Ridge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Carrboro took on Orange on Friday. The Jaguars lost 38-12 to the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Cedar Ridge was beaten by J.F. Webb 64-19 on Friday.

Carrboro will have to keep a close watch on Matthew Asay and Mason Hughes, a pair of players who had a big impact on Cedar Ridge's prior game. Asay threw for 184 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Hughes picked up 29 receiving yards and two scores.

Carrboro's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Cedar Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Carrboro didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cedar Ridge in their previous matchup back in August of 2019, but they still walked away with a 24-18 victory.
