Atwater proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 31) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-40 win over the Beyer Patriots. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Atwater's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler, Curtis, who went 5-for-11 en route to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sylas, Austin, who posted eight points.

Atwater's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Atwater will take on Bradshaw Christian in a tournament on Thursday. As for Beyer, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hughson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
