Football Recap: San Dimas' Rushing Dominance Continues

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but San Dimas had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Poly Bears with a sharp 28-8 victory. The score was close at halftime, but the Saints pulled away in the second half with 21 points.

San Dimas found their leader in sophomore Keenan Hoyt, who rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns.

San Dimas was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 331 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 175 rushing yards in eight consecutive matchups.

San Dimas is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Poly, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.

San Dimas didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-12 loss against Valley Christian on the 21st. Poly does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
