Football Recap: Raritan Has No Trouble Against Asbury Park

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Matawan Regional, Raritan was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 43-19 margin over the Asbury Park Bishops. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bishops, too.

The win got Raritan back to even at 3-3. As for Asbury Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raritan will welcome Holmdel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Asbury Park, they will be playing at home against New Egypt at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
