Basketball Recap: Jack Boswell Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Maple Heights

The Padua Franciscan Bruins earned a 72-64 win over the Maple Heights Mustangs on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Padua Franciscan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Boswell led the charge by putting up 12 points along with eight boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Antione Wooten, who posted 20 points and eight rebounds.

Maple Heights lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Levi Craig, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Coles, who put up 12 points.

Padua Franciscan's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Maple Heights, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
