After losing to Sun Valley Community the last time they met, Lighthouse Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lions blew past the Cutthroats 3-0 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

While Lighthouse Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Reese Franklin and Kinsie McCoy, who picked up six kills apiece. McCoy really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 16. Franklin and McCoy didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Lighthouse Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Sun Valley Community, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
