Somerset Academy Collegiate had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Varsity Opponent. The game snapped a strange streak: the last three times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Somerset Academy Collegiate was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-11.

Somerset Academy Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 19-12-1.

Coming up, Somerset Academy Collegiate will head out on the road to take on Great Hearts Western Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will take on Trinity at Meadow View at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
