Basketball Game Preview: Bronson Eagles vs. Interlachen Rams + How To Watch

The Bronson Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Interlachen Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Bronson is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Hilliard on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles had to suffer through a 73-31 loss at the hands of the Red Flashes. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Red Flashes recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Landon Martensen, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Markeem Corbit, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 12 points.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Interlachen ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They snuck past Keystone Heights with a 55-49 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their 27-point performance the game before.

Interlachen found their leader in freshman Lawrence Sharp, who posted 31 points and four steals. Jerimiah Johnson was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds.

Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Interlachen, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Bronson didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Interlachen in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 69-64 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
