Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Daphne). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Robertsdale Golden Bears 70-7. With the Trojans ahead 41-5 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Abagail Johnson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 14 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Victoria Moten, who posted nine points and four steals.

Daphne smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive matchups.

Daphne pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Robertsdale, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Daphne will venture away from home to take on Fairhope at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. Robertsdale has already played their next contest (against St. Luke's Episcopal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
