Volleyball Recap: Northside Beats Tuscaloosa Academy for Their Sixth Straight Win

Northside entered their tilt with Tuscaloosa Academy on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16.

Haley Brooke Lyons paced Northside's offense, picking up eight kills. Lyons got some help from Aiden Sharbutt and her 17 assists.

Northside's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside will challenge American Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they will face off against Brookwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
