Volleyball Recap: Kimball/White Lake Falls Short of Avon in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kimball/White Lake can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Avon Pirates on Tuesday. The Wildkats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2020.

Jordyn Voigt was a one-woman wrecking crew For Avon. as she had 26 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Voigt has posted since back in September.

Kimball/White Lake's loss dropped their record down to 9-23. As for Avon, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Kimball/White Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Avon, they will challenge Corsica/Stickney at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
