Jefferson Independent Day suffered their biggest defeat since October 2nd on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Liberal Bulldogs. The Cavaliers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, Jefferson Independent Day saw an underclassman step up: freshman Morgan Shifferd had 17 digs. Shifferd has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Liberal found their leader in sophomore Braylen Frieden, who had 18 digs.
