Volleyball Recap: Williams Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Quincy Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-13.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Quincy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4-1 record this season.

Williams and Quincy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Yellowjackets will face off against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (847 vs. 276). Meanwhile, Quincy (ranked 212th) will meet Woodcreek (ranked 34th) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
