Volleyball Game Preview: James River Knights vs. Carroll County Cavaliers + How To Watch

The James River Knights will square off against the Carroll County Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

James River is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Alleghany just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, James River sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-21, 15-25, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Carroll County came up short against Radford on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

James River's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Carroll County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
