Volleyball Game Preview: Middlesboro Yellowjackets vs. Red Bird Cardinals + How To Watch

The Middlesboro Yellowjackets are taking a road trip to challenge the Red Bird Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Middlesboro made easy work of Lynn Camp and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Red Bird hadn't done well against Harlan recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Green Dragons.

Middlesboro's record now sits at 6-12-1. As for Red Bird, their record is now 3-9.

Middlesboro took their win against Red Bird in their previous meeting back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
