Bowman Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed past the Tri-County Cavaliers to the tune of 47-14. With the Eagles ahead 34-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

When it comes to explaining why Tri-County lost, don't look at Riley Balchunas. Despite the final result, he picked up 95 receiving yards and one score. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 51 yards.

Bowman Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Tri-County, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Bowman Academy will welcome Knox at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' defense better be ready for this one: the Redskins have averaged an impressive 39 points per game this season. As for Tri-County, they are taking a road trip to square off against North Newton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
