Volleyball Recap: Greenfield Takes a Loss

Greenfield entered their contest against Whitefish Bay on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hustlin' Hawks fell 3-1 to the Blue Dukes. The Hustlin' Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Dukes from their previous meeting back in October of 2021.

Greenfield might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Whitefish Bay: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.

Greenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Whitefish Bay, their win ended a seven-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-16.

Greenfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Brown Deer on the 7th. As for Whitefish Bay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against South Milwaukee on the 4th.
