Baseball Recap: Rock Island Comes Up Short

Rock Island and Plainfield South squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Rock Island had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 5-4. The Rocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rock Island's defeat dropped their record down to 8-23. As for Plainfield South, their victory bumped their record up to 12-17.

As of now, neither Rock Island nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
