Baseball Recap: Casa Roble Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Casa Roble had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Rio Linda Knights. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 5-0 victory on Wednesday.

Nate Stillman was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Braydon Wilson was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The win got Casa Roble back to even at 12-12-1. As for Rio Linda, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15-1.

Looking ahead, Casa Roble will square off against El Camino at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.76 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rio Linda, they will face off against Woodland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
