Plainview had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Haleyville Lions as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.
Kella McCurdy paced Plainview's offense, picking up five kills. McCurdy got some help from Jada Gray and her nine assists. Jaxson Bruce controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Plainview's win bumped their record up to 34-14. As for Haleyville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-15 record this season.
