Volleyball Recap: Bristol Central Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

With a playoff win on the line, Bristol Central rose to the challenge on Monday. They put the hurt on the New London Whalers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bristol Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Finley Gray, who had nine digs and three assists.

Bristol Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive contests.

Bristol Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for New London, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Bristol Central will square off against Masuk at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. New London does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
