Baseball Recap: Sheridan Extends Road Winning Streak to Eight

Sheridan barely beat John Glenn the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Generals put the hurt on the Little Muskies with a sharp 15-0 victory on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Generals.

Brody White and Noah Wamer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, White pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Wamer pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At the plate, White scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Wamer scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Sheridan got a big performance out of Cole Cashdollar, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. James Solomon was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Sheridan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as John Glenn only posted an OBP of .211.

Sheridan pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for John Glenn, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Sheridan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Little Muskies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
