Volleyball Recap: Hesperia Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hesperia had already won three in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Indian Springs COYOTES by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Scorpions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hesperia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kitana Tapopo, who had seven aces.

Tapopo wasn't the only good server: Hesperia was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Hesperia's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Indian Springs, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Hesperia will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Barstow at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Springs, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Eisenhower on the 9th.
