Baseball Recap: Johnson County Comes Up Short

The Johnson County Longhorns didn't have quite enough to beat the Myrtle Beach Seahawks on Friday and fell 3-2. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johnson County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Myrtle Beach, their record is now 7-11.

Looking ahead, Johnson County will venture away from home to challenge Holston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.83 runs per game on average), something the Longhorns will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Myrtle Beach, they will host Carolina Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Seahawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
