St. Michael the Archangel came tearing into Thursday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Guardians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Roosters/Chicks, too.

Jordan Redd paced St. Michael the Archangel's offense, picking up 12 kills. Redd got some help from Addi MacLean and her 32 assists. MacLean also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Bella Roccaro, each putting up three.

Despite the loss, Pleasant Hill saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addison Brazzle had ten digs and one assist. Brazzle has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

St. Michael the Archangel's record now sits at 28-7. As for Pleasant Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-17-3.

As of now, neither St. Michael the Archangel nor the Roosters/Chicks have any future games scheduled.
