Football Game Recap: Long Beach vs. Picayune

Long Beach came into their this week averaging 33 points per game, but Long Beach fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They were dealt a punishing 7-57 defeat at the hands of Picayune. Long Beach's loss continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it five losses in a row.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Long Beach take on West Harrison at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Long Beach and four for West Harrison. As for Picayune, they will face off against Hattiesburg. Hattiesburg have averaged 49 points over the course of their past eight games, so Picayune might be in for a challenge.
