Football Recap: Red Wing Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Red Wing's offense. They took a blow against the Dover-Eyota Eagles on Wednesday, falling 41-0. While losing is never fun, the Wingers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Eagles are ranked 80th).

Dover-Eyota found their leader in sophomore Blake Nordine, who rushed for 82 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.

This is the second loss in a row for Red Wing and nudges their season record down to 1-7. As for Dover-Eyota, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4.

As of now, neither Red Wing nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
