Soccer Game Preview: Righetti vs. St. Joseph

The Righetti Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the St. Joseph Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Righetti, who comes in off a win.

Righetti's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Seaside 4-0. Four seems to be a good number for Righetti as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

They hit Seaside with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nery Saguilan, David Monge, Christopher Garcia, and Kevin Jovel.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 6-1 to Nipomo two weeks ago.

Righetti's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for St. Joseph, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Righetti's way against St. Joseph when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Righetti made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
