Tulare Western's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They slipped by the Wasco Tigers 34-33. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their 12-point performance the game before.

Tulare Western's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JUJU Hernandez, who threw for 277 yards and three touchdowns. Preston Seechan handled things on the ground, rushing for 83 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Despite the loss, Wasco still got an impressive performance from Hammie Lopez, who rushed for 118 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Lopez didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended one pass.

Tulare Western's record now sits at 4-1. As for Wasco, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 4-1.

Tulare Western didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-19 win against Mission Oak on the 3rd. As for Wasco, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 48-0 victory against Chavez on the 3rd.
