Chittenango had to settle for second on Thursday, but Evan Tianello sure wasn't going down easily. Tianello tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. The effort marked the fewest hits he has had since back in May of 2025.

Even though Tianello couldn't lead Chittenango over Jordan-Elbridge, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
