Soccer Recap: West Middlesex Takes a Loss

West Middlesex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Iroquois Braves. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but West Middlesex couldn't quite close it out.

West Middlesex's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Iroquois, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Middlesex will venture away from home to take on Sharon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Iroquois, they will square off against Titusville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Iroquois their first taste of in-conference action this season.
