Basketball Game Preview: Palisades Pumas vs. Huss Huskies + How To Watch

The Palisades Pumas will venture away from home to take on the Huss Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Palisades was able to grind out a solid victory over Northwestern, taking the game 55-46.

Jasmyn Ashbourne was the offensive standout of the matchup as she shot 41% from the field en route to 19 points along with six assists and five steals. Loren Moore was another key player, going 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points and eight rebounds.

Palisades smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 16 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Huss not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 4th (when they won 81-33). Everything went their way against T.C. Roberson as they made off with a 59-37 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Palisades better focus on containing Shemiah McCoy and SaRyah McCorkel as the pair were huge in Huss' win. McCoy dropped a double-double with 26 points and 11 assists, while McCorkel dropped a double-double with 18 points and 27 boards. The contest was McCoy's third in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariah Worthy, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Huss' record is now 2-0. As for Palisades, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
