Basketball Recap: Dillon Moody Key Part of a Team Effort in Crimson Tide Win

There's no place like home for Glencoe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They secured a 53-47 W over the Hillsboro Spartans on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crimson Tide also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Glencoe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dillon Moody led the charge by putting up seven points and ten rebounds. With that strong performance, Moody is now averaging an impressive 8.5 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Terrence Townsend, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points.

Glencoe smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive contests.

Glencoe's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Hillsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Glencoe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-56 win against Dallas on the 20th. As for Hillsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-53 victory against St. Helens on the 19th.
