Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Laurence walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Hinsdale South Hornets 39-6. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 11 contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

St. Laurence has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.5 points over those games. As for Hinsdale South, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8.

Looking ahead, St. Laurence will take on King at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Jaguars' defense has only allowed 4.3 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them. Hinsdale South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
