Flag Football Recap: San Leandro Comes Up Short

San Leandro lost against James Logan back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates took a 20-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while the Colts are ranked 91st).

This is the second loss in a row for San Leandro and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for James Logan, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. San Leandro will challenge Encinal at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Jets' defense has only allowed 10.6 points per game this season, so the Pirates' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for James Logan, they will take on Tennyson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
