Basketball Recap: Ridgemont Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

Ridgemont hadn't done well against Upper Scioto Valley recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Ridgemont Golden Gophers managed a 56-50 win over the Upper Scioto Valley Rams. This was payback for the Golden Gophers, who suffered a 46-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Ridgemont has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Upper Scioto Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgemont will welcome Hardin Northern at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they will look to defend their home court on January 31st against Temple Christian at 7:30 p.m.
