Basketball Recap: Bullock County Comes Up Short at Home Against Luverne + How To Watch

Bullock County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost to the Luverne Tigers at home by a 63-44 margin on Monday. The Hornets were down 51-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Bullock County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Dandre Allen posted 15 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kameron Johnson, who earned six points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Bullock County has already played their next matchup (against Goshen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Luverne, they will challenge New Brockton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
